Christian von Järten is the founder and managing director of the VON JÄRTEN & CIE real estate group of companies. Christian von Järten’s enthusiasm for real estate was created at an early age by his family environment. His career began with an apprenticeship as a management assistant in real estate at a publicly listed company.
In another position Christian provided comprehensive advice to private and institutional investors at a leading English real estate consultancy firm and successfully supported them in creating portfolios in Germany. Before founding his own company, Christian von Järten was the office manager for Sotheby’s International Realty in Hamburg, coordinating sales activities for a well-known major investor in Zurich for a destination in Switzerland.
Christian von Järten has been present on the real estate market for over a decade and has excellent national and international contacts to numerous decision-makers and key real estate players. In total, the projects he has overseen in real estate development and transactions sum up to a volume of approx. € 800M.
